edit.. Upon the advice of a lovely fellow artist I took another shot at the disintegrating wings - hopefully this is an improvement!

It's just a few days short of being a whole year since I last uploaded a photomanipulation. A major part of that was because I got so caught up with university, and I imagine it will only get worse this year as I bury myself in honours prerequisite units. I am one of those people who pull all nighters trying to get essays done at the last minute, and has panic attacks because of it. Unfortunately, it's also the tried and true method that gets me the marks I need. >.> The other part of it was because the equine manipping community has changed so drastically over the last five years. New artists have seemingly appeared out of nowhere and blown me absolutely out of the water, while older ones have improved thousandfold. It is inspiring and humbling and really depressing at once, particularly as I remained seemingly stagnant, if not in fact regressing. But here is me giving photoshop another shot, and opening 2013 with...something not exactly happy? I am actually perfectly content though, so this is not laden with some angst or deep emotional meaning. Dark and moody just happened, and I hope you all like it!

(Also, I fail at making things disintegrate. Halp?)
